All production budgets must be approved by the Playhouse Manager. Please be as detailed as you possibly can when considering production expenses. Every effort will be made to accommodate budget requests. Please submit your budget requests before making any purchases.

The playhouse will be available for one act play rehearsals beginning March 6. Please contact the playhouse manager with your request for rehearsal time (todd_hiscock@cbu.ca). Final tech and dress rehearsals will be done on the day of performances. The schedule for this time should be worked out between the two groups. It is suggested that the production performing first should rehearse last so that you may leave your set in place, if necessary.
Each group is required to do its own set up and strike of set, props and costumes. The change over between plays should take no longer than 15 minutes.
Anyone involved in the festival, who wish to receive a festival t-shirt and festival pass is required to pay a $5.00 festival fee. The festival pass allows one person admittance to all festival plays. Groups are asked to collect their festival fees and submit them together, using the title of the group’s play, by March 14. Also, please include T-shirt sizes.
Each person involved in a play production for the one act festival will receive two complimentary tickets for the play they are participating in.
A generic program cover will be designed for all one act plays. Please provide your cast and crew list, along with acknowledgements by Monday, March 19. Please keep in mind space is limited to half of an 8.5 X 11 sheet, in landscape orientation.
