Well recognized and established Fish Harvester’s Co-operative Organization is currently seeking Seafood Production Workers for our 2023 Season.

Job Description

Production workers will work in the production facility that converts the raw seafood product into a processed finished, marketable product ready for sale in domestic and foreign Markets. Production workers may be required to grade, wash, butcher, pack, weigh, case, label, and transport the product to the freezer. Product will be unloaded raw and processed into finished product and then loaded in freezers or on trucks.

Job Requirements

• Must be capable of standing for long periods of time. Shift may run from 3 -12 hours per day and typically 5-7 days per week.
• Must be able to lift, up to and including 40 lbs, and work in a busy, wet, noisy environment
• Must be capable of repetitive work, must be able to work well with fellow employees
• Must follow VCF Policies and Safe work procedures including mandatory wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Must be double vaccinated to be considered for a position and proof of vaccination must be provided at time of application

• Seafood Process Workers may be work at any position are required by management
• Start rate of $17.00/hr (must meet company attendance requirements)
• Start date is approximately mid-April, end of season is approximately mid-Sept. Student employment ends prior to school commencement.
• Housing available.
