WORK STUDY: Program Researcher

About the Job

The Program Researcher will assist with developing our understanding of best practices for capstone and project based courses.  The successful incumbent will investigate English language standards for similar programs at other Maritime institutions and other projects, as assigned.

Tasks/Duties

• Research skills
• Scanning and review of public information of other institutions
• Facilitate learning with faculty and staff
• Literature review of published best practice recommendations from scholarly journals on pedagogy

Qualifications

• BBA or BHTM student who has completed at least 50% of the program, enrolled full time and in good academic standing
• Demonstrated research skills
• Ability to work independently
• Experience with writing reports
• Good analytical skills
• Experience presenting
