About

The CBU Early Childhood Centre Association (Daycare) is available to students, staff and faculty of CBU. We have seven Early Childhood Educators and an onsite cook. Our staff provide an inclusive high-quality program that centre’s around play-based learning while supporting the CBU community.

Being located at the University, the children have many unique experiences and opportunities within the CBU community, such as access to the fieldhouse, soccer field and dome. As well, students participate in the many cultural events around campus and a variety of educational activities.

Location & Hours

The Centre is located in Campus Centre near the Library and is open Monday to Friday 7:45am to 5:15pm. It is licensed for children two years old to five years old and enrolls children according to wait list policy.

Rates

Our current rate is $15.75 a day with subsidized seats available. Subsidy can only be applied for on-line at: https://childcarenovascotia.ca/families/child-care-subsidy once you have secured a spot.

To add your child’s name, or for inquiries, please call 902 563-1811 or email daycare@cbu.ca. There is currently an approximate 2 year wait list with no guarantee of admission.
