Claudette Taylor

Associate Professor, Nursing

Dr. Claudette Taylor, is an Associate Professor, in the Department of Nursing, at Cape Breton University. Dr. Taylor earned a Masters of Nursing Degree from Dalhousie University, a Post-Masters Nurse Practitioner Diploma from the University of Toronto and her PhD from the University of Alberta. Her research predominantly is associated with improving patient outcomes in advanced cancer care patients and supporting themes of palliative care in cancer care. Doctor Taylor is an experienced clinician with experience in palliative care, cancer care and nursing of the critically care adult. Currently, Doctor Taylor is seconded to Dalhousie University teaching in the Masters of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner option.
