Eli is a Sessional Instructor with the department of Health Sciences at CBU. When not teaching, he works as a Global HSEC Assurance Manager for Glencore plc., a large corporation engaged in the mining and processing of the metals needed for the global transition to a low carbon economy. Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Simon Bolivar University, Venezuela; Master of Business Administration (MBA), University of Toronto, Canada, and University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Professional Licences and Designations: Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), province of Alberta, Canada; Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals; Certified Safety Professional (CSP), US Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
