Dr. Jim Gerrie earned his BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Mount Allison University, a Philosophy MA from the University of Guelph and his PhD from the Guelph-McMaster University Joint Doctoral Program in Philosophy. Dr. Gerrie’s research focuses on the Philosophy of Technology and the Philosophy of Religion. His current research considers the questions: What is the relation between ethics, technology and public policy’ What is the proper role of religion in the public sphere’
