Judy MacInnis

Senior Lab Instructor and Transmission Electrron Microscope Tech

Judy MacInnis is a Senior Lab instructor in the Chemistry Department and a Transmission electron microscope (TEM) technician. Judy holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from St.F.X University as well as a B.Sc and B. Ed (Math/Science) with distinction from Mount Allison University. She is currently working on a PhD in Chemistry through Memorial University. At CBU she is actively involved in hands on training on specialized analytical instrumentation with students to advance their chemistry skills. As co-faculty advisor for the undergraduate Chemistry Society Judy is very active in chemistry outreach and is passionate about promoting women in STEM. Judy is currently co-lead for Island WISE at CBU and a councillor for science promotion with the Nova Scotia Institute of Science.
