The department of Nursing in the School of Nursing at Cape Breton University (CBU) invite applications for two Limited Term position at the rank of Assistant Professor (or Lecturer depending on qualifications). These positions will commence August 1st 2024 (or soon thereafter) until June 30th 2025.

The Department of Nursing is seeking two dynamic registered nurses to become members of a progressive, energetic and research-focused department. Teaching in a concept-based curriculum, the nursing faculty seeks candidates whose philosophy and commitment are complementary. In addition to teaching and research, the successful candidates may be required to participate in nursing practice with groups of students in various practice settings, simulation and/or labs.
CBU teaches programs on campus, off campus in locations across and outside of Canada, and on-line. The university and its partners will therefore provide opportunities for faculty members to teach in different modes in different locations as part of their regular workload. While these opportunities may not be available equally for all faculty positions in all programs, a clear willingness to teach in different modes and locations will be noted as part of your application.
