Executive Assistant to the Dean, School of Nursing

Cape Breton University (CBU) is looking for an Executive Assistant to the Dean in the School of Nursing where you will play a pivotal role in providing project coordination and confidential administrative support. This is a Full-Time Continuing role.

The successful candidate be providing confidential administrative support and project coordination to the Dean, including managing communications with faculty, staff, students, and the broader community. The successful candidate will assist in preparing documentation, maintaining budget files, tracking employment contracts, and supporting external accreditation processes.

Qualifications for this role is to possess a secretarial or office administration diploma, with a university degree being an asset. A minimum of five years of administrative experience, preferably in an academic setting is required. Strong written communication, organizational, and exceptional interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position. Candidates should demonstrate the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
