MANAGER, EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

CBU invites applications for the Manager, Experiential Learning. This is a full time continuing position.

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Dean, School of Education and Health, and is responsible for the organization, facilitation, and quality assurance of experiential learning in the Education Department. The successful candidate is also the liaison between the Cape Breton University Education Department and partners in the P-12 education system.

Some qualifications of this role but not limited to are:

  • A Master of Education degree.
  • An ATC Nova Scotia Teaching License.
  • A sound understanding of the pedagogy and epistemology of teacher preparation and an understanding of the andragogy of working with adult learners.
  • A strong understanding of the Microsoft Suite especially Teams, Outlook, Excel.
  • A pedagogical understanding of teacher certification and licensing, current knowledge of teacher education regulations and an understanding
