Cape Breton University works closely with a network of authorized agents and associates throughout the world. These associate offices play a key role in ensuring that prospective students have accurate and complete information about CBU, and in assisting students in planning and preparing for their study programs.

Change of Agent

International students can apply to change their agent by completing the Change of Agent form. This form can be submitted to the email indicated on the form.

Please note that it is not possible to request a change of agent after commission has been paid.

Applying to CBU

For applicants currently residing in any of the 7 countries listed below, your application must be submitted through our in-market educational partner. They will provide you with guidance on your application, review your supporting documents, and process your submission to us. If you have any questions about you can reach CBU’s Admissions Office directly at admissions@cbu.ca or 902-563-1330.

If you reside outside of the countries listed below, you can apply online.

If you reside in the following countries, email the corresponding address and they will give you step-by-step instructions to apply or refer you to an approved agent. Applications submitted to CBU directly from these countries will not be processed.

Notify the recruiter of the email you use to create the Agent Account.

Sign CBU’s Agent Agreement and Agent Code of Conduct.

Access our Agent Handbook to get more information and resources to promote CBU.

Send your student’s application through the CBU Future Student Account.

Wait for a decision to be made on the application. Notifications from the Future Student account will be sent to this email address used to set up the account. You can track application process and receive decision letters in the Future Student account.
