In response to student feedback regarding confusion in understanding account balances, CBU has taken steps to provide more clarity in regards to your Student Account.
Previously, tuition and fees for both the Fall (September) and Winter (January) semesters would reflect on your Account Summary together. This caused confusion around balances due, as the deadline for Fall courses is September 30 and the deadline for Winter courses is not until January 30.
By transitioning to suspended billing, you will see tuition and fees charges on your Account Summary for the Fall semester on August 1. Charges for the Winter semester will not be shown on your account until December 1.
You will see tuition and fees charges For Fall 2024 on your Account Summary on August 1 for any courses you have registered for.
Charges for the Winter semester will show on your account on December 1.
Charges for the Spring/Summer semester will show on your account on April 1.
To determine an estimate of your tuition and fees at any time, please refer to your program-specific page at cbu.ca/programs.
Log into your Compass Student Account and click on the Student Finance tab. You should now see your Account Summary. Within your summary you will see if and how much is owing on your account for the term.
