Ana & Eric are Ana Luísa Ramos and Eric Taylor Escudero, a Brazilian duo based in St. John’s, Newfoundland & Labrador. Building on their experience as performers and educators, Ana & Eric share their knowledge and stories about Brazilian music and rhythms. The duo will also discuss their experience and challenges as immigrant musicians, consider the contradictions and opportunities of the world music genre and multicultural festivals, and invite students to participate in music-making activities.
