Join us on Monday, November 4, at 7:00pm at the Boardmore Playhouse for the launch of the Cape Breton University Creative Arts Awards, part of CBU’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.
This special evening will celebrate individuals and organizations who have championed and shaped the vibrant Creative Arts community at CBU and across Unama’ki – Cape Breton. The event will honour key founders including Father Donald Campbell, Harry and Elizabeth Boardmore, Dr. David Sneddon and Barbara E. Stetter, as well as our community partners, the Sons of Membertou and CAPER Radio. Their contributions have been instrumental in establishing and nurturing CBU’s Creative Arts programs, creating a strong foundation that continues to thrive today.
Guests will also enjoy live performances from talented local artists, CBU students and alumni.
Doors open at 6:30pm and the event will begin at 7:00pm at the Boardmore Playhouse, followed by a reception at the Art Gallery.
