Career Readiness Session

Join the CBU Advising Team for a Career Readiness Session on Wednesday, August 28, from 10:00am-1:00pm in the Advising Centre on the CBU Campus.

Throughout their time with CBU, most students will seek employment. To help prepare students for this, the Advising team at CBU is piloting a Career Readiness Session. Throughout the three hours, students will be educated on finding work in Canada and will be connected with services that can help them. This includes Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), Service Canada and Access Nova Scotia.

Additionally, CBU’s Career Practitioner, Tracey MacMullin, will review what it takes to have an effective resume with students in attendance and will provide job hunting tips.
