CBU students are invited to attend an information session about Graduate School programs in English and the Humanities on Thursday, November 21 from 11:45am-1:00pm in the School of Arts and Social Sciences (SASS) Lounge.

This event has been organized by the CBU English Department and will feature presentations from Jon Doering and Tom Ue.

During the session, attendees will learn about:

  • Grad School programs in English and the Humanities
  • How an M.A. can complement a wide variety of career trajectories
  • Different kinds of Canadian M.A. programs and how to determine the perfect school for you
  • The documents needed for a strong application
  • The necessary finances by exploring major scholarships and choosing a program that lets you break even
  • Tips on how to select your ideal supervisor
