Cape Breton University (CBU) and the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) of Canada have signed an Accreditation Agreement to provide students in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program a waiver of the National Knowledge Exam (NKW) administered by CPHR Nova Scotia and the CPHR of Canada.
“Cape Breton University is proud to unveil this new partnership with CPHR Nova Scotia. Agreements such as this pave the way for meaningful opportunities benefiting both students and our institutions,” says David Dingwall, President and Vice-Chancellor of Cape Breton University. “We look forward to working with the CPHR community for many years to come.”
Upon their final year of the BBA program, CBU students will become members of CPHR Nova Scotia and will be eligible to apply for the NKE waiver. This will also apply to students who have graduated from CBU’s BBA program between May 2015 and the signing of this agreement. Graduates must meet identified grade requirements, be members of CPHR Nova Scotia and apply for the waiver before September 30, 2025.
