CBU Signs MOU with SIAS International University

The President of Cape Breton University, the Honourable David C. Dingwall signed an MOU with SIAS International University on Nov. 13th, in Henan, China. SIAS International University is the most globalized institute in Henan province, China; it has over 30,000 full- time students. CBU and SIAS agreed to work together to provide better education services to the students.
In addition to visiting SIAS International University, President Dingwall met with the Vice Chairman of the Henan Provincial People’s Congress, Mr. Jichao Xu, the former Vice Premier in charge of education in Henan, China.
Both parties agreed to support future cooperation in Nova Scotia and Henan Province, including but not limited to education, tourism, industry and trade as well as agriculture and seafood. The Two also discussed the transfer of Henan students to Cape Breton University and the delivery CBU programs in Henan Province.
